    OHIO//OHIo//OHio//Ohio//ohio//oooo yeah!

We need an optician in the Cleveland, Ohio area. We have have 4 high end stores, and are opening a fifth in July. We need outgoing personalities that have real lives (not 24/7 opticians!!) !! We are a family oriented practice which means you only work evenings or weekends if you want to, and you get time and a half pay for the extra effort. Some years we take everybody to Vegas for Vision Expo ; every year we take the staff and their families to a local resort for gettaway weekends. Looking for full and part-time help!! Floating position also available. Fax resume to: (440) 632-1690

Listen John, I can't work the hours that you need from Jersey but if you need someone to help out in Vegas or the resort part, just give me a call. Walt

    Walt,

It was great to meet you and your son (future Pres.) before & after VE. I'd have you both on my staff anyday ! Thanks for all your help while we were in town.

(The only problem with Vegas is that we had a tough time convincing some of the staff to return to Ohio.)

No kidding. After reading a few years of Johns' posts here on OptiBoard, I'd fax him my resume. Johns, do you think I could claim the travel time on my taxes; how much could twice daily flights from Connecticut to Ohio cost?

    Jo,

Besides the fact that you'd fall in love with our tropical Ohio weather (we had 3 feet of "it" last week ) we'd hope that you'd like working here so much you'd want to stay ! If that doesn't sound good enough, how about if we just open an office in Con. for you ? I'd even through in a free Marchon pd ruler.

    Hey John

I live in the cleveland area and I am currently looking for a job. I am not a licensed optician but have been apprenticed for many years (since 1998) I do just about everything, from insurances, to lab work and dispensing. I also do contact lens trainings and visual acuties. The only problem is I need a full time job. I cant afford a part time job at this time but if you ever have one open please email me at jillian031480@aol.com. I have a great personality and love to work with people. I took my test 2 times and failed it by one point and ever since then I just never went back to re-take the test. I feel that I am just as good of an optician just with out a license. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a great day!!

    Jill
