Blue Jumper Find a small oval zyl brightly colored?

One of our patients loves brightly colored zyl frames, preferably in reddish hues. She has a small face and a high-minus Rx (-7.75 to -8.00). She wears progressives (presently a Comfort, which she's worn successfully at 18 high, even if it isn't optimal for Comforts!). She prefers oval shapes, size should be 44 or 45 max. We used to have her in an Australian Optical zyl that she loved, and when we could no longer get that, we put her in a Neostyle smallish zyl, which she wore but didn't like as well because the shape was more rectangular.

Anyone have any ideas? I've checked the Frames book and all our catalogues, in children's and adults, and come up with nothing.

Thanks Rich. No, I haven't, and admit ignorance about LaFont. Can't find them in the Frames book either. Who do you order their frames from, and how can I get a catalog? Thanks again for your help.

I could plug one of my inventions which would or could solve your problem. Micro Tintswill tint any plastic frame the way you want in seconds and you have your color. If you have a clear frame it is the easiet to do.

OK, Chris, do you know of any clear, oval 44-46 eye zyls, 135 temple, for a woman who likes to fall asleep with her glasses on? Also, how much does your tint cost to do? Can we do it in-house? Merci.
