Tried to get on Optiboard at 5 am as usual....................no access possible mostly for the whole mornming.............upset all my routine..............everything else was done so fast.

Anybody knows? I thought we were all shut out and punished.

The server went down in the middle of the night and I wasn't aware of this until I got up. The hosting company should have caught this but somehow they didn't. Not too happy with them at the moment.

Optiboard is my homepage.
Last night about 2 a.m.,after I had been surfing through some Red Hat Society pages (don't ask; I won't tell) I thought maybe the devil had taken my Optiboard away. Then I thought maybe Steve was reminding us how much we love Optiboard and should behave so we can have Optiboard all the time....but then I came to my senses and figured I was screwing up somewhere. (My residential computer advisor often has to come straighten out my messes because I am hopeless if something acts/looks differently when I am online!) I wasn't even sure how to turn off my computer if the home page didnt look right... :hammer: and then hubby said I was buying too many red hats anyway and Optiboard is a much safer hobby. I told him Optiboard is NOT a hobby!!! :angry: Optiboard is the final answer to any optical question that comes up at work (ie: "well, I read on OPTIBOARD that such and such or thus and so....") and I expect that to put the period to any quibbling about something I KNOW is optical gospel according to Darryl and our other experts. (Hubby just said, "Look, click here, turn it off and go to bed!") And when I got up this morning and tried to find map quest in my bookmarks, without Optiboard there to cheer me on....I was lost again. I had to start from the extended family webpages to find anything at all.
Home from work tonight at 10 pm... I eased into my swivel rocking desk chair and cautiously turned on my Dell, and clicked the netscape symbol...and waited.... breathed once or twice, and then Optiboard loaded up!!! Yea!!!!

I know that without your guidance and largess we wouldn't have our Optiboard at all.
