    software

I'm sure this question has been around a few times, but I'll ask again for all of us that missed it in the past

What software are you all using for keeping up with inventory, patient data, accounts paid, receivable, appointments, Rx, insurance and all that good stuff ?

I've worked with PRISM (hate it) and Office Mate (love it)

Thanks in advance to all your answers and opinions :D

    Software

I have two offices. I use Microsoft Access as the sole database forpatient exams, inventory, etc, in one officee. In the otheroffice, which has a larger database, I use MS SQL Server 2000 as theback-end (engine) with a MS Access front end (user-interface). The advantage to these are they are very easy to use and set up, andyou don't have to pay someone to come in and set it up for you! Ialso use Quickbooks Pro to keep my financial stuff on. It is veryeasy to use, and keeps track of everything!

The biggest advanctage to these software applications is that they arenot expensive, and you don't have to pay licensing fees every year likewith most insurances. They are designed to network straight outof the box too.

It is necessary to learn how to use them, but it is not difficult.

Our office uses Maximeyes and we love it. It does everything for us and it's not hard to use.
