I'm a tech with 20 years experience in the U.K. What qualifications would I need to work in TX. What could I expect to earn ?

If I had the work, I'd hire you. Unfortunately it would be in Wisconsin not Texas (Cheeseheads are more fun that Cowboys).

texas is a fair market. Dallas Tx. pays very good, but cost of living is high. San antonio is good. Houston good in some areas . I live close to Austin pay is ok ,but OD s want to keep pay low . you can make a ok living here. BUT if I COULD MOVE GO TO DALLAS AND LIVE IN SUROUNDING TOWNS TO WORK IN DALLAS OR PLANO TX BIG BUCKS ON EXPENCE 20 YEARS PLUS BETTER FLEXABLE AT WHAT YOU WOULD WANT TO EARN. HOPE YOU MOVE TO TX. GOOD LUCK

    Check with TOPS

Check with Texas Ophthalmic Professional Society at:

    TxAssocHq@aol.com
    Phone
    Work: 512-467-2722

Susie Cannon or Don Ward should be able to direct you to some quality information.
