    Looking for LARGE trendy frame

    We are looking for a frame for a man that is rather LARGE 6'5" 300 at least. PD is 71mm he is interested in a black plastic frame with a rather small b measurement
    and he also needs a temple at least 150mm long. I cant seem to find anything close lots of fronts that might fit the bill but temples are 130 to 135 at the most. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    would a custom made frame not suit him a lot better, then you can specify
    bridge, temple size etc, as well as enhancing your reputation as a real specialist.

    Robert;

    Upon further examination of your response I see you feel this is not gonna happen unless my patient is an insect . I assure you this is the biggest insect I have ever seen and I really dont want to irritate :angry: him in any way. On the contrary I would really like to help him find what he's looking for. Seriously folks any body have any ideas :idea:

    Your lab can get temple extenders for you that will extend up to 15mm at very little cost. Be sure your temples have removable end pieces and you should be able to get the big guy the frame of his dreams :)

    Ikon's signature is about insects, he's not making a comment about your patient (I don't think)

    Try Windsor eyes, Adolfo XL for Big and Tall
    in the back of the Marchon catalog, there's a list of their frames in categories, including "long temples" and "large sizes"

    Hope that helps

    I thought I'd let everyone who's interested know I found a link in Otiboard to A&A Optical http://www.aaoptical-pez.com/ they have a zyl frame called the Titan available in 58/18/150 and 60/18/155. Should be just what our big guy is looking for thanks to all for the suggestions, and I guess I owe Robert an oppology for the misunderstanding I think??? :cheers:

    Lafont has been coming out with some mens frames with longer temples recently, nice trendy big stuff. Beausoleil also has some larger black plastic.

    B Measurement on the 58 eye is 33, and the 60 eye would be 35. I these will work great for the patient. After some further investigation I now know I really do owe Robert an appology. I did a search of all the posts by Robert and see that his signature always refers to specialization is for insects. I have to admit I thought he was busting me for asking for something that couldnt be done. I would still like to know how to custom order a frame.

    If he still lurks around here, try Jerry Huang from Eyetailor.
