    Super Glue

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting super glue off of eyewear lenses?

    Thanks!

rubbing alcohol works well. However, it might not take it all off, because the glue could of penetraded the lens surface, and you cannot remove that.

Acetone works best. Don't use it on poly though!

The best way to remove it is throw them in the trash and buy new glasses.

    Soak 'em

CME4 is correct. but only on CR39 or Glass - NO POLY! If it is a fairly heavy coating, I will lay it in a little dish and soak it in Acenton. Actually my dish in a -10 on a plano base and the lid is a plano lens. 5 to 10 minutes should do the trick. Again, if it is heavy, it may take a couple of "treatments".
