K readings seem accurate and it is one of the only units to measure pupil size in near darkness, a good things for a LASIK workup. But it simply has wild fluctuations and tolerances on autorefraction, sometimes off by a couple diopters for no apparent reason. I can't depend on the unit to give me accurate readings. When I spoke with the company (again) last month, they said there is a software update that might help and that they would send it. True to their performance, I haven't received it yet. I wouldn't buy anything from this company again.
