    Hello,

I am in need of a Porsche Carrera frame. I do not know the model #, but they are sunglasses with loose lens that are clipped into the frame. They are also very large. I called Safilo and they do not carry them. If anybody has one around and would like to sell it please e-mail me pbdist@cris.com
If you know of any company that sells them let me know.

    Thanks,
    Bryan

Which eye size? ..I have a few accounts that carry that design.. Just to make sure we are on the same page.. the lens sit inside two metal clips and the bar snaps down over the front of the lens..is that the one you are looking for? .. if so give me an eye size and I'll call around.. if memory serves me right I think it's something like a 60/12 or along those lines.. big ugly aviator looking monster :)

You may be talking to the wrong person at Safilo. Ask for John Koch. He is the guy you need ANY time you need an odd or end part or rogue frame.

I don't think Safilo carries the Porsche part of Carrera unless they picked it up after they picked up just plain Carerra. Back then you used to be able to get the Porsche stuff from Ray Ban (I think, or either Revo) before Lux picked them up. They updated that style and made it smaller though so even if you find one it may not be exactly what you are looking for-although the newer one had spring hinges...

    Bryon,
Our stores used to carry the Porsche frames. I called to check on where or if they are still available apparently at least out here they have gone retail and have a store called Porsche Designs in South Coast Plaza Shopping Mall in Newport or Costa Mesa.
If you are looking for the old big one it is a 5621 eyesize 68-10, the smaller one was a 5622 eyesize 66-10. A year or so ago they did have a smaller model what the numbers were I can not remember.
    I hope this helps.
