Seiko and Zeiss do the lens. I think Zeiss has it available in Brown.

In the US only Seiko and it can be done with Zeiss Carat AR.

Does it come in stock or it has to be surfaced?
Also does it come with AR in stock?

    1. No stock, only semi-finish currently
    2. No- you'll need to use a lab with on-site AR facility that will coat these lenses
    3. Yes

Every time I see my essilor rep, I make a point to mention how easy it would be for me to sell 1.67 transition with alize. It seriously amazes me that this hasn't been a priority product to develope.

They are only allowed to do what they are allowed to do. Anyways, early next year I hear that Essilor will be coming out with an index similar to 1.67 for transitions.

I'm just curious, but is anyone else rumored to be rolling out 1.67 Transitions in the near-future, besides Essilor? (namely Sola)?

In September at VEW Sola launched three 1.67 Transitions products through their SOLA Technologies Labs. The SOLAOne HD 1.67 with Teflon easycare AR, The AO Easy HD 1.67 with Teflon easycare AR and SOLA SV with Teflon easy care. The pals are freeform technology.

Thanks Jim! I'll have to check and see if my company can get 'em, they sometimes are a real pain about getting certain lenses we want. *grrrr*

Thanks for the info, though! I appreciate it!
