Can anyone reccomend study materials for the abo advanced test?

Slaboff,

You will need Optical Formulas Tutorial, Opthalmic Optics Dictionary, Management for Opticians, a good primer on low vision, refraction and lab procedures (know how to surface and finish lenses, what type of equipment, etc)

My number one advice is to memorize every formula in the Tutorial. You will need it! The test is the hard part, the paper is easy. Good luck.

thanks Lee, i will take your advice... is there a pre-test you can take like with the abo to see if your ready?

ABO has a work book called The Masters Review that has some Q&A after each chapter but it really doesn't do the test justice. I would also recommend that too.
