Wave How are sales doing for you?

Just curious now that the back to school stuff is over and fall is upon us, how are your sales looking for this year compared to the past few? Slower, about the same? Just curious.

Ryan, better than usual. back to school glasses don't really kick in much until the school nurses do vision screening, and find out who can't see, and that'll be a few weeks...I just hope things stay steady..

Actually our sales are about 50 percent up, but we moved our store last year, so that is where that is all coming from.

Yea, or overall sales are up, and it seems like our average sale amount is going up as well. We don't seem busier, but the $$$ amounts are rising. People seem to be spending a little more, finally.

Good news: we're ahead of goal by about 8% ytd, and goal was a modest 6% over last year, so we're about 14% up over last year.

Bad news: last year was pathetic!

    Bottom line: I'll take it!:)

(Oops! Our goal was a much more modest 3%, so we're up by 11%. Still...I'll take it!)
