    Nike

Anyone else out there starting to see a rise in ophthalmic Nike frames that snap just above the eyewire barrel or in the dead center of the bridge? We had been going along with very few problems with the line; all of a sudden I've had seven of them come back within a week and a half with these two problems.

Call your rep. You'll be surprised what he/ she tells you. (New release next month is supposed to cure all.

Uh huh. Our reps tell us they haven't heard any other complaints.

Run into the backorder problem as well.

    Johns & Texas Ranger,
We told a regional rep about the problems. He said they hadn't seen any problems. Unfortunately, he was playing with a frame at the time. The temple promptly broke off the frame in his hands sending a piece of the barrel flying over someone's head. "How sweet it is!"

    Jo:

    You me "unfortuately for HIM!"

Tell your rep that if he values your business, he'll come clean with you next time about problems concerning the lines that you bought from him. It's no big deal to me that there are problems, everyone has them occasionally. I have a problem if the issue is no addressed in an honest and forthright manner.

I have been getting broken Nike back for months. It's embarrassing.

When I ordered a frame that was on backorder, the Marchon order-taker immediately offered a loaner frame. They must be taking a lot of heat.

I have 2 patients wearing 'loaner' frames and another 2 waiting on clip ons that have been on backorder for a few weeks. :drop: I think they are going to have less board space in our office.
