I studied a lot of finance in University. Google is an IPO that will follow the last fools affect. It will rise and then crash; therefore, leaving many to buy high and sell low. We are talking about a company that really does not generate a profit. Net companies find it hard to bring in revenue, and one of the only ways is by selling capital.

Additionally, I do not believe that it is a good idea to enter the stock market unless you want to spend at least $50,000. You need a diversified portfolio of at least 30 and below 50 to develop a good return low risk variable. You do want to be risk adverse.

I haven't looked at Googles numbers, but I guess the advice to be risk adverse is contrary to what I would advise. Depends on your investment goals. If you are young and have a reasonably good financial footing, I think you should consider a certain amount of risk--only on money you can afford to lose of course--and commit to a long term strategy. For what it's worth!!!
