Another good book... The Rule of Four

Having gone through all of Dan Brown's novels (actually, my favorite turned out to be Angel's & Demons, the DaVinci Code was a bit easier to figure out), I picked up a book called The Rule of Four. Sorry, forget the author- but I think it was actually written by two guys who must've went to Princeton.

Anyway, I still put Angel's & Demons at the top of my "recently read" pile, but this book was well worth investing in the hardback...

Likewise, if you're in the mood for a flick and haven't seen it yet I really enjoyed Something's Gotta Give. In my opinion, Nicholson is just one of our age's best character actors, and even though I usually don't enjoy performances by Diane Keaton, she was brilliant in this movie.

So, there you go- can you tell I'm working REALLY hard to ignore the upcoming elections? :)

I just picked up the Rule of Four and plan to read it at the beach!!! A movie to avoid: The Notebook--real pap, saved only by some excellent performances. Has anyone seen DeLovely? I thought I would take my mother, she loves Berlin (as do I!)

You mean we still have people who can read in this profession? Can't we wait until the movie comes out?

    Pete,

I'm reading Dan Brown's books in reverse order, though not on purpose. I agree that Angels & Demons was better than DaVinci code. I'm in the middle of Deception Point right now.

I heard a review of The Book of Four on NPR - it sounded interesting, keep us informed.

    Rule of Four

Just finished this. Didn't love it. Confusing plot line, poor pacing.
