Has anyone had problems with updating to the newest Officemate SP3? I believe it has mostly to do with ICD10 and billing.
I still have a good selection of the rimless styles with many temples between by 2 offices in central CT.

In many similar cases, I will Rx an Ultex bifocal. Works very well. The digital round seg sounds good too, but is probably a lot more expensive.
Need Frame - Cover Girl GC364 52/16 color 255
Patient broke frame; expensive lenses; frame is D/C.
Thanks in advance if you have this on your board.

Every few years, the manufacturers come out with a handful of metal frames with no nosepads. The frame sits directly on the bridge of the nose. They usually discontinue them within a year because of...
"No cases" here in the US usually means the frame was returned to the manufacturer as a defect, exchanged, stolen or a knock off. None of those would make anyone want to pay any significant amount...
I loved the old SmartSeg design and was surprised that a SmartSeg2 with an enhanced midrange and near configuration and fewer aberations was never released.
It was a catagory killer. I still have...
Morris and his wife Esther went to the state fair every year,
and every year Morris would say,'Esther,I'd like to ride in that helicopter.
'Esther always replied,'I know Morris, but that...
We have been trying to contact Etienne in California and Menrad in Germany for warranty service on a Joop frame.... for several months! We have not received a reply form either.

I'm puzzled by this part of the news release.
There would be no need to seek the approval of a CT regulatory department if it were just a frame company like Marchon or even a chain of labs being...
So instead of a frame company buying a major insurance plan, here's an insurance plan buying a major frame company.
Both use the purchase to get into thousands of additional offices. Will another...
I find patients who like the concept are quite enthusiastic about the frame. Those who like it are typically fashionable women high school age and up. They are the best advertising. I position these...
My PD is about 64.
I've now been in the Creation for about a year. It has the best overall range by far. I've also had an Autograph made in the same Rx/same frame for comparison. I don't see a...
I still think that an updated Smart Seg with a new generation progressive seg would be a hit. We used loads of the old, now discontinued lens.
I don't believe there is a comparable replacement....
Harry,
Perhaps you've been living on another planet for the past decade, but optometrists have been doing all of those things SAFELY and LEGALLY for quite some time. This appears to be no more...
Having been a longtime Varilux wearer and coming out of Panamics, I thought the distance of the Physio 360 was outstanding. With my 3D of cyl, peripheral abberations in the distance were greatly...
There is a site hosted by the Connecticut Association of Optometrists that lists many part and full-time OD positions available in CT. There are usually some private practices available on the site....
Happy Birthday (with a little snow in your area)!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all. You are a wealth of information and insight and although I'm mainly a lurker, you help make...
I can't imagine that you don't charge a CL fee, unless that fee is hidden in other charges. Although everyone has expenses to cover, you are entitled to work for nothing if you so desire. It's just...
I met a Topcon salesman a few years ago who had doubts about the quality of his machine. I wasn't in the market then and would look elsewhere. Topcon makes some excellent equipment which I've used...
I've been an OD for 25 years and I can't tell you how many moms have gotten to the verge of crying when they realized that their child had not been seeing clearly...FOR YEARS. Their pediatrician said...
I have the perfect way to hurt this company.
I'll buy their stock! My track record is so dismal that companies don't just lose market share and their stock price drops, they go into bankruptcy,...
I've been using quite a few of the Shamir Office lenses with virtually no non-adapts (perhaps one out of hundreds). It is available in CR39 and poly (for the drilled rimless) and they recently...
Thanks, Dave.
I'm a pack rat and hate to throw things out, especially when they are irreplaceable like those clips.
Fax me your address and info to 860-346-9232 and I'll box them up. There must...
