Ding ding ding! We have a winner!
I've done it before just using a hand beveler wheel to rough the edges back up. Light pressure, obviously, otherwise you suddenly have a much-too-small lens. :)
Conversely, you could weigh the "additional" cost of getting an AR with a longer-term warranty versus a whole new pair of lenses. Penny wise, pound foolish.
You guys do realize those are contextual Google ads, right? They scan what the content of the page is and cross-reference it with your IP address, so you get localized advertisements that are...
It's obviously a joke, though I'm torn whether or not to buy one of the T-shirts. Mustn't encourage this sort of thing, yet it's so funny...
Oh, you wouldn't like that at all. Who would you red-staters leech federal tax dollars from [PDF link, see page 2] if we weren't around?
Hopefully, his malignant influence will wane once he's no longer a "player". This is pretty stomach-churning as well.
I'm using them. I don't have any complaints, but that's because we have a kick-butt delivery guy. The one or two times I've had to call them I've not been very impressed.
We've spent more money in the time elapsed between your post and mine in Iraq than the federal government gives to NPR in a year.
Just saying.
I vote for #2. #1's a communist.
A whole bunch of the newer BCBG frames are incredibly difficult to adjust--Angelique being one of them...oh, I'll just make a list. I've melted a few temples myself. Oh, and the eyewire bevels tend...
I love it when I have the last post in a thread, and the thread dies for 4 or 5 days and when someone else posts, they ignore what I had to say completely. Me, I just figure that no one can find any...
Former Congressman Tom DeLay. It's not quite as good as "Convicted felon Tom DeLay", and its logical next step, "Federal Inmate #1190741", but it's a start.
Actually, last year at Vision Expo West, they did have a class on soldering. Had I gone to it, I definitely would have taken the class. Probably going this year, so here's hoping.
Chip, it's so nice when we agree. I had a similar idea here, though it's not as charmingly draconian.
.Nice day for it
How wonderfully perverse! After all, it's these deadbeat men who are running off, leaving the woman to take care of the kid. What should the criteria be? Hmm...you'd have to give them a fighting...
I was thinking Bob Dole myself.
I'm too young to run for president--maybe in 2012. As for my agreement with Chip, click the link in the sig to be taken to the conversation in question (Don't want to muddy up a topic in the wrong...
I appreciate the reply. I tend to, uh, get carried away sometimes and I fully realize that replying to something that long can be an imposing task. My aim is to not feel insulted until the person...
A patient with that high of an RX should know there are still limitations on what they can feasibly wear. For something like a -8.00 in rimless, I'm running to Darryl's thickness calculator for a...
What nasty take? Those are precisely his words. If you don't believe me, click the link. I thought they needed a more...public airing.
I'm so glad you took the time to reply to my post above. I spent a lot of time writing it, so I thank you for your thoughtful and considered reply.
Oh...you didn't. Silly me. Well, at least I got...
Genius. I'm totally stealing that line.
