See too many of those...:help:
Great story...thanks for sharing.
Is it in same position all the time? Could it be the tracer? Unsure of edger you have, but could it be rotating and bumping something in the machine?
It may be that your groove is a bit too far forward and is coming unstuck with the polarising layer of the lens. where they are joined, it may be weaker and grooving is not as stable there?
That looks like packing...generally a no-no for any dispenser worth their salt. But should be able to be ordered from any place that sells spare parts for frames
And they are not stopping there......

I dont believe it is a locally supplied lens, as I have heard it is sourced directly from Asia...
Not too sure, but have heard it may be a essilor designed lens...probably a white label version of one of their own.

+1  ....too funny.....
Target of 18 million screenings over 3 years.........wow! And with all the deregulation happening across the globe, could be coming to a corner near you!
Brilliant news....one lucky young man!
Worked with the MEI641 (auto and manual) and it is great. Accuracy and speed are superb. Never worked on Nidek 7Ex though, so cannot compare.
I think what you will have is the reading portion at the bottom as a +1.00 (add) and the lens will shift/degress by +0.75, meaning the top portion of the lens (intermediate) will have +0.25 power....
Not so ridiculous.....there is a vitamin for that!!

This is a rather bold statement from the company....."24hrs" sounds good in principle, and they must be speaking about grind jobs, otherwise Luxottica and/or Essilor really has a problem if they have...
How about incentives based on store profitability? The more the store sells/makes (and be profitable) the better for everyone?
Deepest part of lens and eyewire would be the same? The boxing systems is used in most (if not all) labs and works to the lowest part of the lens for seg height measurement.
 had me in stitches this one.........hehehehe
This is/should be a big concern for everyone in the industry. Deregulation here has lead to untold pressure back on the labs to fix up issues relating to bad dispensing
I know right....surprised it made it through and onto the front page!

Exactly! A pair of readers will be adequate for some, but once they truly get fitted with a proper pair on center etc, then they will "see" the difference it makes in paying for a specific service....
Although in all seriousness, they are a bit hard to come by...even down here.
