It was 399.00 plus the cost of the iPad (I got the cheap one @ 499.00). HOYA's got a deal to help pay for it but it's on Mystyle, since it doesn't have a VSP code I do not use the lens.
I purchased the Spectangle measuring app from HOYA. A bit odd at first but the staff and most patients love it.
Interesting article from a local California newspaper

Since you're offering something better concerning centration devices i.e. "put HOYA to shame", what are your comments about the HOYA Spectangle.
Any details, good, bad, or ugly concerning the...
You did say what the age kid you were looking for?? One of the safest choice and good quality for the little one's is from California based Solobambi. Your patients won't find ths product at...
Vantage actually gets really dark/really fast when it's a bit cool outdoors and okay on warmer days . On the flip side it appears to take longer to "fade back" when you come inside. Otherwise it...
I don't think it available yet. I went to the Spectangle site and clicked on the buy the app button (now this was a few weeks ago) and it said it wasn't available. As I understand they have...
HOYA will truly become, "The Free Form Company" if they purchase all the assets of Seiko-Epson since they hold key patents to all most all of the freeform technology used today.

Of course the best eye doc will be the one that takes the time to put a trial frame on the patient. Although that may not take care of all the problems, it does reduce errors/"bad" refractions to a...
Truly "Professional" ECP's might consider not supporting the vendors on their supplier list but you guys continue to do so - time after time after time (Optiboarder's are so pro-EOA and Zeiss)

[QUOTE): I would digress a bit. Some of Hoya's lenses are cast on the front, digital on the back, so I would consider those products Hybrid lenses, not True Free-form.
I've heard that before, are...
Ya... but Shamir is also available at Lenscrafters and Walmart and most of the other chains
If Walmart has it I don't need it....
"essilor is best as for scratch free"
and how do you know it's the best?
and why not the wearers of the Essilor brand of AR coatings?
Companies are now reluctant to release details of scratch comparisons. Ages ago it was rumored that the big E tied up H for years with frivolous litigation when H said Super HiVision was the most...

Does anyone know if VSP has a policy concerning warranties on AR products?
I’m not asking for any specific lab warranties but rather if VSP sets a minimum requirement for each catagory (time or...
Of course I asked TLG how he defined a "standard" front surface since the blank of the HOYA iD LifeStyle front and back surface is neither single vision or progressive. The design of the blank...
How do you define "standard" front surface? I think you're wrong about the HOYA iD LifeStyle product.
as I recall the Individual produced in this country has a spherical front surface starting...
As I recall 1.74 index really isn't very good for drill mounts because of the brittleness of the materials. Although with that correction (-7.25 - 4.25 X 96) it's not going to look very nice in any...
