I agree with Fezz & Judy, Keep it calabrated and clean. i also found that if it is in a tight space they over heat and the sizeing can be inconsistant.

I had the same type of "nut" in my shop a couple of weeks ago. He spent 2 hours picking out golf glasses (Drivewear lenses) for a golf tournement on the west coast. The lab had breakage so I offered...
I got married 2 years after highschool to a girl I met while in colledge out side the US. I had a ok job (paid the rent) rebuilding truck engines in a junk yard while I was finishing my BS in psyc....
Open Invitation????
How far away were you from the disaster?? Are you affected??
Oliver Peoples/Paul Smith, Lafont, Tag Heuer, Silhouette, Exottica, Like it or not some Luxottica/Safilo/Marchon lines have great name reckognition. In todays market there is no line anyone cant live...
My friend just returned from Toronto with 2 cases of Sleemans Honey;-) Let the good times roll.
Great customer service, very sellable product, no warentee issues, no exchange issues, gets peoples attention, great margins.
What else is the frame co. doing for you to warrent such an investment? You commit to then do they commit to you? Do you have an area excluscive? Do they advertise you on line or in print as a local...
When Glass was the dominant material the seg was below the front surface of the lens so glare off the "ledge" of the seg was not a problem.
Where was the Fezz-Johns booth. I was looking for it but unfortunatly I had too many appointments to spend the time to really search for it.
Safilo's runway show.
The fine art of negotation:):bbg::D
My guess at recesession proof frames would be along the lines of Oliver Peoples/Paul Smith, or lesser known designer/manufactures that can provide quality and design as well as sell for good margins,...
I thought you owed me a round .:bbg:
I will be there Friday and Sunday, sounds like I am going to miss the party at Doc In China's booth.
My preference would be edge coat to match the frame. I feel roll & polish increases the appearence of concentric rings causing a tunnel effect. I have had pts. tell me that they find the shine from...
I cant imagine any lens design of any kind would offer much peripheral vision anyway.
Thats better than shrink wraping the toilets. :D:D
College was FUN!!:D
Subjective Refraction
Got the Rx.
Since the rx is so far over the limits of my tools in my office, I would have the un-lucky surface lab match all the perameters I mentioned earlier.
How much useable vision does...
I read -35 as Ft-35 I havent seen a BI Concave Flat Top in over 10 years.
How much useable vision does the pt have?
My lens clock reads in minus also. I would read it at the OC.
If the OC's vary match them.
I would give the surfacing lab the CT also, with all other parameters I dont think the CT would...
I thought 1.9 glass was impossible to get in the US. If the PT can tolerate the index I would use a 1.74. Every now and then I get a few PTs that dont tolerate the 1.70 or 1.74, they always seem to...
Match PD's , OC ht, Base Curve, Sphere and Cross curves and check vertex distance. On Dispense I would check pano tilt and face form.
