why were you dispensed in a 1.9 glass lens for that rx?
i'm guessing being keratoconic will mean RGPs therfore when the Px has a seizure i guess the uncontrolled eye movements would cause corneal damage?
When I did my qualifying exams had a verification section. We were told the add had to be focimetered as supposedly the college had some lenses with incorrect add engraved on them......

If I rememeber correctly the red and green used for the duochrome is supposed to be equidistant either side along the spectrum from the peak sensitivity of the human eye. this is meant to be 555...

Depending on where you did your undergrad. you may not have experienced much in the way of viva type exams.
Get as much practice at having questions fired...
Indeed pqe stands for professional qualification exams.
they are the exams taken at the end of you pre registration year for optometrists here in the UK.
here in the UK you study 3 years...

As a newly qualified optom I am always questioning the "quality" of my referral letter. Frankly I think it deserves a lecture or two at university........
Anyway the reason for my post is to ask...
I have been having the same problem too for the last 2 days.
All the other images show up fine. The panel which showed the avatar name etc. just isn't there anymore.
I think a UK sub-forum within the International section would be worthwhile.
It seems we get more Brits on here then monoptica and the other UK optics sites anyway.
I have had a pair made up for myself and I was very pleased with the finished spex.
That would be George Lazenby (not sure if thats the correct spelling) who played Bond in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"
