Does anyone use this lab and what is your opinion?
lenses clock the same in or out of frame. Dr backed off a .25 in od so I'll see if that helps. However, ya'll still haven't answered my question. Can't anyone tell me why if the lab sheet says it was...
Lab says it was run on a 5.50 . The frame does not have extreme wrap at all. I've fit many of these with no problem. Od rx did change about +.50, but pt is seeing 20/15 when we refracted him. Lab has...
Rx +2.75 -.50 x88
+1.50 -.50 x70 +2.50 add If the lenses were done in a 5.50 bc, why do they clock at 7? These are dress adidas fo4 some wrap, grooved rimless. Pt is having trouble...
You just teared me up ! Way to go girl !!
Manual lensometer. I'll keep looking. Thanks Guys.
I've searched youtube and can't find one. Does anyone know where I can find a video showing and explaining how to read progressives?
Thank you so much!!!
Can it be ground in by the lab ?
Why can't I induce .50 prism up and down on a pair of stock lenses with this rx ? The oc does not move when I move the lens up or down. Please explain and don't laugh at my ignorance. Rx od +.50 -.50...
Why not make them in the pts rx? That is assuming they have one. A pair of rx readers would be far better for the pt than a cheater. The lens price would be the same and the pt would have far less...
Thanks to all of you for the advice! I value your knowledge and experience!!
How does a little b&m compete with Wally's 38.00 back to school special? Can anyone give me some ideas and feedback? We're considering a 1/2 off frame sale or something of that nature. We don't...
Our New Santinelli edger is just one year old and they are calling to sell us an extended warranty. It's quite expensive. I would think a one year old edger shouldn't have issues as long as it's...
We work in an OD's office and also wear Cherokee Flexibles scrubs. Form fitting and yes, also cute :)
We used a fingernail file until we got our new Santinelli... But be careful, you can scratch the lens if you miss the groove
Thank you for all the responses! What is the turn around time? And how do the prices compare with your other labs?
Is anyone familiar with Luzerne Optical? The prices seem to be competitive. Any feedback, good or bad, would be appreciated.
Thank You.
You are painfully under paid in my opinion! With your skill and knowledge you should be making at least 15.00 an hour. You may want to point out to your employer how valuable these things are to...
May I ask how many of you make commission on sales? I am seeing it offered in many of the job bank positions .Certified? Non certified? Does it make a difference?
...With cable temples. One patient brought some in with no place for nosepads.
I must get some dark glasses.....
Is there a quarterly fee for using Spectangle? Or is it just a one time buy?
Wes, it's actually Bill Engvall who gives people signs
