if you use HOYA ADDPOWER or ESSILOR INTERVIEW for Desk glasses better to have big frame
if you fit in small frame it will be just newspaper glasses

in Desk glasses should be HOYA...

Panamic have 12 mm coridor
85% of Addition at 12 mm.
that we also can fit down to 16 mm.
but for first time wearer they need to see the whole reading area
then i better fit at 20 mm. if 18 mm....

18 mm. is minimum for me
and not for first time wearer PAL
PANAMIC need 19-20 for first time wearer PAL

16 mm is just some time some case :D

you should go for Varilux Panamic...

I have experience about this lens
so i will recomment you
Impression ILT Xs 1.74 that is very good
Just ILT with out Xs is too long corridor for ADD 175
too deep to find reading point
this lens...

if you worry about weigh you have to think about abbe on poly lens
compare between weigh and abbe , i choose abbe first

then the best choise is

choose right frame and fit on Varilux Panamic 1.8 Glass
not too expensive , good abbe , and thinest in the world:D
