YOUNGER OPTICS NOW OFFERS TRILOGY® LENSES IN A
FINISHED HARD-COAT AND FINISHED ANTI-REFLECTIVE HARD-COAT

(TORRANCE, CA — May 2005) California-based lens innovator Younger Optics has again expanded the Trilogy® product line by introducing clear finished hard-coated and A/R hard-coated lenses, according to an announcement by David Rips, President and Chief Executive Officer.

In recent years, Trilogy lenses have been recognized with two Optical Laboratories Association (OLA) Awards of Excellence – in 2002 it was named “Best in Lens Materials” and in 2003 Trilogy in Transitions was named “Best in Lens Treatments.”

“Trilogy lenses continue to receive great interest in the marketplace as the rimless frame category grows through all channels of the industry,” said Rips. “Laboratories now have a product with premium features they can offer eyecare professionals with the assurance of a lifetime warranty against lens cracking. We are pleased to expand the offering of the Trilogy product line with finished lenses.”

Both the Trilogy finished hard-coated and finished A/R hard-coated lenses are available from wholesale laboratories.
