? Maintenance contract on Zeiss OCT

Hi, I have a 1 year old Cirrus 500 OCT which I love, but find it's not a great $ maker. It is just off it's 1 year warrantee... has had no problems thus far, and I am not sure if I really need to pay big bucks for a service contract. I was hoping to get some feedback from others who have this machine... have you had problems in year 2 or 3? Very costly repairs? I am a small OD practice and am hardly dependent on the machine, but I obviously want to keep it running. Are there independent service contracts (other than Zeiss) that may be less expensive? Any advice is much appreciated!!
