Can anyone tell me what caused the coating to look like this? It's not crazed. The birefringence is not an issue. It's an odd kind of spottiness (the picture may not do it justice, but if you look closely, you'll see it).

I can't see anything from this photo but if you haven't seen it before I might assume defect? What AR is it?
The photo is blurry....or I need a new refraction!
This is called interference fringe. Caused by differences in lens index and coating index. Blue and red light are out of phase. Most notable under fluorescent lighting. It not noticeable by wearer.
