Eyelash rubbing on lenses??
We have a patient who just purchased a plastic 8 base sunglass frame that we Rx'd. With the Rx lenses, his eyelashes now touch the left lens with each blink. What are the options to solve this? We could mount the lens 40%/60%, but the lens would protrude a bit on the front surface of the frame. Also, we were thinking of added flat nose pads (I can't remember what they're called...Add a pad or something like that). He does not want the regular type of wire and plastic nose pad added on to the plastic frame.

If it touches the left eylashes only, and not both of them your frame sits crooked on the nose and you will have to bring the left temple in to starighten the frame and problem is solved.
