    Essilor launches online game to raise awareness about UV dangers ......................................

    To continue to raise public awareness about the danger of UV rays and the importance of protecting the eyes, Essilor has launched an interactive online game available on Essilor.com and the Group’s Facebook page.
    The game, “Protect your eyes from UV” is a fun and engaging way to help remember that UV rays – present at all times throughout the year – can have important consequences for the eyes, and that optimal protection is necessary for the eyes as well as the skin.

      Chris, please tell me why eyes need to be protected from UV rays, aside from the fact that this line of thinking is a cash cow for optical business. I'm asking for your personal observations and thoughts, not a reiteration of the common group-think. Thanks.

        Just an off the wall comment, but most of the eyes I have replaced for cancer were lost in early infancy to retinitus blastoma. These people had usually never been in the Sun and those that had, not much.
