A brief biography of a misspent life.

Born and raised in New England I graduated from the Fletcher School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH in 1960. I immediately went on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and served as a Naval Aviator for the next 22 years (nine years active duty and thirteen years reserve.) Upon release from active duty I followed in family footsteps and became an RDO (WITI), COMT (Bascom Palmer) and PA (Duke University.)

While engaging in these pursuits I also continued my aviation interests as a commercial pilot and flight instructor.

In the early nineties I received a BS in Computer Science and shortly thereafter started a business developing software for medical and aviation management. In 2000 I received an MS in Management from the Eisenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.

I reached critical mass in 2002 and promptly sold the business and retired.

Since retirement we fly back and fourth from our home in a senior community in Central Massachusetts and our ranch in Gold Hill, Oregon. Grand parenting, cruising & traveling and fishing & hunting take up most of our busy lives these days.

How sweet it is!
