Mike DiSanto was a remarkable man, and is sadly missed. I enjoyed many many
of his lectures over the course of twenty years. It saddens me that there is such
little regard for those that go above and beyond the scope of Opticanry.

I see their point also, but I would think that Mike, Melissa, Mary, and Ted, being at the top of their field, would be considered to have at least met the minimum qualifications of being an optician.

In a way, I can understand their point, from multiple angles. What is an optician? In more than half the country, DiSanto is far too qualified to be lumped in with those who claim the title with no qualification.
