After several months of working for Polycore I kinda felt that this job was not for me. First of all I had been in contact with the folks at the Reno offices for over a year discussing this position. One of my last trips was one of my worst. I spent a week in Iowa and everything that could go wrong did go wrong!

I got there with the impression that I would get a list of places to visit from a local lab. I was there for a whole day before a list arrived. When I recieved the list it was anything but accurate. Some of these places were no longer in business and others I just could not find! I spent days driving in the snow trying to figure out where the hell I was going. Polycore ...

...So I left off with my time in Nebraska with Lind. This was great! I loved Nebraska!! Linda knew her way around from her time with Signet. I had mentioned after my time in Reno that I really did not know what I was doing! I was just a simple lab guy. They decided that since Linda was a regional rep with Signet that she could show me some of the ropes. That week was one of the most educational that I could remember!

She introduced me to several of the labs nearby. I'll never forget ...

So several months ago I made a big announcement that I was to begin my new job at Polycore Optical USA. I changed my signature and everthing! I was so proud of my "big boy" job!! Some have sent me emails asking what happened. So I figure now that we have this blog feature I would spill my guts.

End of the week for me and time to look back at the week that has gone. Time to crack open a beer and look to the week ahead! Not much happened this week.
