The Trivex with HVVP coating is yellow but try putting it under a UV tester then let us know the result.
My guess is, the poly with crizal no longer has UV protection, but...-

Reply to Poly vs. TrivexI'm fairly new to the field, so please bear with me but I was under the impression that Tri-vex lenses were a brand of poly and not a different material. What is the ABBI value and ref index of Tri-vex comp to poly? Secondly any pro and con info anyone can give me about Tri-vex (aside from poss yellowing)...

I surfaced lenses for fifteen years and have always had problems with Poly's lack of clarity in a lensometer and poor scratch resistance. One thing...

Reply to Poly vs. Trivexby David_GarzaWithin two years many Poly rimless jobs show stress cracks so you trade one problem for another, plus I have yet to have a patient complain about yellowing of Trivex lenses while many patients bring in cracked poly lenses (not fit in our optical).
