Just a check to see if there are any other counter culture folks who have made it to Optiboard. We've got a lot of time on our hands because we don't have too many virus's to worry about! :bbg:

Power Computing Power Center Pro 240 "Mac clone"
604E processor / 240 MHz with 192 MB RAM
high speed (DSL) internet connection
MacOS 9.2.2
OptiBoard software works very well with one minor exception:
Using the cursor position (mouse location) to call up temporary (popup window) text displays like "poster reputation" and "thread contents preview" does not work very well. Tendency is for desired information not to become visible.

a Titanium G4 Powerbook-400 MHz w 384 mb ramand 10 gigHD- and at home an Graphite iMac. Powerbook goes in Wed for a 40 gig drive. If you are not using "Panther" OS, you are REALLY missing something special. Upgraded itunes and iphotos make it worth the price alone,to say nothing of Safari browser and the mail program.
Note to Ron- I hear you on the lack of our abilities to use certain features on Optiboard software. It has a been a source of some agrandizment on my part as well. Many of the PC users like to go Nah na Nah na Nah Nah when I can't use certain features............but I manage to get a zing in, once in a while, during the time when PC users are scurrying around like headless chickens during a virus scare!
Every once in a while something comes up of general interest to Apple folk- I'll pass them along as I see them.
