Jim, I wanted to thank you for your hospitality and for taking the picture of Pete. For those who didn't attend the show, perhaps you could describe what went on. I was really impressed.

Hi Harry,
It was good to see you at VEE too. We had a very busy Vision Expo with several things going on at once. About the only quiet times at the booth were at 9 am and again at closing. Our Events Manager is a woman named Dawn West. I do not know how she will be able to top this past VEE.
We have a tool for ECP's called TOM, which is a on line marketing tool that customizes your locations needs with our Transitions Lens graphics. To show how easy it is to use TOM, we invited visitors in to have their photos, or photos of their staff taken. These photos were uploaded to TOM to create templates that can be customized. Our booth staff manned two stations set up for the ECP's to learn how to manuever the site and run creatives. The take away was a great looking 8x11 Healthy Change customized counter card.
We also had the Weatherchannels Weatherwall. It was a taping station set up with the current satellite images for your local, state or national weather. The ECP created their own a 3 to 5 minute tape on official Weather Channel equipment. The cameraman gave a quick tutorial on using the monitors. The tapings were shown live on the monitors outside the on site studio. I only wish we had capability of creating a "highlight" loop. Something like 280 tapes were created and are now showing in a office near you.
The scratch off instant winner Healthy Change cards that also registered the ecps into the daily drawing for AMEX gift cards and digital cameras were a very popular way to open dialogue with visitors.
What amazes me is the person who is very conservative until you invite them in to participate with a promotion will suddenly go major ham when the photo op or video op is in progress.
The big buzz on Friday morning was announcement by the AOA that Transitions Lenses meet their AOA Seal of Certification for Ultraviolet Absorbers/Blockers. Throughout the weekend we gave away Transitions Lens lapel pins that included the AOA Seal.

I hope to see you at VEW
best to all
Jim
