Okay, I've worn the new poly version of the Transitions, and- after having a couple of pairs of the 1.5 TransitionsNG crack on me (stupid drill mounts) before I could really wear them out in the sun- I've finally had my lenses (in a full rim frame this time) out in the Florida sun.
One word sums up my impression- WOW!
This is the first time I've ever worn a Transitions product I actually LIKED! It gets dark (yes, actually DARK) really quick, lightens up virtually clear and relatively fast, and the Crizal AR looks just wonderful. In other words, it performs as Transitions has advertised it!
I'm impressed- I have a whole new outlook on resin photochromic products. If you've never tried Transitions before (or have and were unimpressed, like me), try TransitionsNG!
