ESSILOR LABORATORIES OF AMERICA OPENS FIRST CERTIFIED FULL SERVICE CRIZAL® CENTER
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LABORATORY SERVES EXCLUSIVELY TO REGIONAL LABS
VISION EXPO WEST - (September 12, 2002) – Essilor Laboratories of America, Inc. has officially granted Elite Optical, the Essilor lab in Rancho Dominguez, CA, validation to operate as an official Crizal® Center. The certification means that the laboratory meets Essilor’s highest standards for growth and service to labs and eye care professionals.
“Ultimately, we will have several Crizal® Centers in each major region of the country to accelerate growth of this premier lens technology,” said Bob Colucci, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Essilor Laboratories of America. “Local presence will enable us to provide Crizal® anti-reflective, two-sided, scratch-resistant lenses to regional labs and their customers in a faster, more personalized manner.”
ELOA plans to certify several of its other labs as official Crizal® Centers in 2003.
