Licensing Agreement Provides Essilor with Rights for Several Lens Designs
DALLAS – (August 29, 2002) - On August 20, Essilor distributed a press release announcing our new relationship with Al Blackburn of Metro Optics Dallas and the ability for Essilor Contacts to manufacture and distribute the ComfortKone design. It has since been brought to our attention, and confirmed by Al Blackburn, that Metro Optics Austin also has the right to manufacture and distribute the ComfortKone design pursuant to a prior business arrangement. You may wish to note that it is Essilor’s intent to market the design under another name.
