The other day I ordered a pair of VIP's in transistions and wasn't even thinking about the NG version. When I got the job back I thought the lab forgot to use Transistions. So I went outside to check them out anyway, just in case. They started changing and I thought it was strange that I didn't notice the tint. The next day my lab rep came in and was talking to me about NG and it occurd to me that this must have been the new product. I was very impressed to say the least. The only bummer is that if I want to sell a variable tint progressive I won't be so inclined to use the Hoya Wide, which I really like using.:o

On Friday we received in a batch of lenses a pair of XtrActive Bifos and a pair of NG Perceptas.

It was a hot muggy day, I took one lens of each outside in the sun in a job tray and it was just amazing to see the difference in speed of darkening.

After about 20 seconds the NG was darker than the XA.

I'm convinced!! It looks like an excellent product.
