I am having trouble logging in at times. Is it something with my settings or what?

I am having trouble logging into Optibiard. When I come to the site via an email link I am logged in okay. But if I come into the board via the Optispares website, there are problems. I get to the site okay, but I login and try to reply to a post and I get a message I am not logged in. So I follow the link to logon, and still not logging in. It usually takes four or five times before I am logged in.
By the way what is Roadrunner hookup. I have a cable modem.

What browser are you using? I don't understand why the link from Optispares would present a problem.
(By the way, I'm going to split these posts off into the Feedback forum.)

Driller as a test try using the link from my site, i guess you mean the top 10 stories link. The url is in my sig.
Steve Hj mailed me about another new member having problems logging in it just crashed his browser... Still waiting for a reply from him on what o/s etc he is using though..
Steve,
I have a friend who registered the other day and is having the same problem. His username shows up as being logged in but when he tries to post to threads or use some of the functions he gets an error message saying he isn't registered and cannot complete that function or something like that.

Usually problems like that are caused by corrupted cookies (or 'deliquent oreos' as we in the biz call them!) ;)
Have him manually delete all his OptiBoard cookies. Depending on what browser he's using, this may help:
