Jim, just wondering why the "next gen" has not been released world wide at the same time ?

Hello John,
Product release dates and locations are ultimately decided by the Lens Manufacturers that Transitions Optical are partnered with. Together they choose what fits a regions needs best for all parties.
Timing with a regions major trade shows carry a lot of weight.
With Next Generation, a new substrate is involved too. This made the launch more complex. Manufacturers needed to run all of the validations they consider crucial, optimize their process and then take the process to their other sites.
Our five Transitions plants have been optimized by coming on line the same time the local Lens Manufacturing plants are ready.
