As most of you already know, VSI the leading supplier of professionally reconditioned patternless edgers tests and calibrates edgers on a daily basis. We have several edger technicians who are constantly running calibrations. These tests require finished lenses, we use at least 200 lenses per day.

What we need are plastic, poly, and trivex, finished lenses. They can be defective, scratched, yellowed, any power, any blank size.
SURFACE LABS, we will buy your breakages as long as they are not too thin.

We will buy any quantity, no order will be to large or too small. Check your stock, we will buy what you will not use.
I bet someone has an old drawer full of 80 blanks :D

Call me anytime

I have enough glass to dome a stadium.
Not many people order glass edgers anymore.
Thanks Jacqui :bbg:

I've got about a thousand +4.00 in CR-39. I was saving them for Mother's Days (for ashtrays), but I guess I could part with them....

How dare you insinuate an Optiboard member would break a lens! Why the very audacity!

Hi Johns,

The reason I posted this thread is because, one of our suppliers accidently shipped us 5000 pairs of plus lenses. We were counting on over half of them being minus. Now I need to ship back half of them and hope they replace them within a month.

In the meantime, we will buy everything as long as they are nice and mixed. NOT all plus. Ive already had some great offers and will keep accepting them.
If someone has a load of minus only, we will make a great offer.

Thanks!!!!!

Darn! I had already called the office and told them I might not be coming in anymore, as I would be able to retire on the windfall!

This may even affect my vacation!

LOL.......

Not only do we cut the lenses in house during calibrations. We also use them for installation and training in the field. There have been a few times when we were really low on minus. Its not fun showing up at a customers office with a box full of + lenses.

As far as axis calibrations, We have to use minus "flat" lenses to scribe a line. The plus lenses always give you that curved effect when testing axis.
