I would have to agree.........

In 1995 I stepped off a plane in Florida with nothing more than 10 years of optical lab experience, a duffel bag of clothes, an old guitar, $900 bucks in my pocket, and the optical section of the yellow pages that I ripped out in the airport.
Within 72 hours I had financed a car, rented a great apartment on the Gulf, and landed a better job than the one I left in New York. Within the following week I literally had 6 or 7 other employers bidding for me. I could have had any job I wanted.

I seriously doubt anyone could do that today. It was much easier to live in the 90s. I am still here in Florida and I love it, but living expenses are getting very high.

I miss the 90s
