I'm new to optiboard and look forward to networking with some of the greatest optical professionals on the net.
I've been odering my eyeglass cases from LBI and want to know if there are other suppliers which I can deal with.
Anyone have some suggestions?

You could try Rhode Island Case Company or Pyramid Case. We use those. I'm sure there are lots more.

I'm gonna throw my bosses name out there. Just on the off chance you might know him. He's been around for more than 20 years and has traveled around quite a bit. David Wolanin. I feel blessed to be learning from this guy.

No, I don't :(
I do know many from Winterpeg. Do you know Volker Hues from Perspectics Lab?

Yep. Just talked to him the other day. He lends us his barcode scanner when our edger goes down. Don't get me started on Perspectics. They have royally ****ed up one of my jobs. Who else? Let's play 6 degrees here.
Not really a threadjack.

LBI has been fantastic for me. The owner (Chad) has always, and I mean always been very appreciative and receptive to everything I throw at him. It also doesnt hurt that their wharehouse is only about 20 miles from my shop, so I can actually stop in and see what is new.
I have also been very impressed with Red Hawk Inc. www.redhawkinc.com (http://www.redhawkinc.com)

good timing. I was just thinking about starting the same thread. Redhawk, pyramid and Ronor are new to me, thanks a bunch!
I would like to also ask where to get some of the best looking and highest-quality cases out there. Like some of the ones made for Tura, Vera Wang, Valentino and some of the even higher priced lines lines?
Thanks again

2 extremes. Cavalli. Could they make their cases any bigger? Scandanavia could you make your cases any smaller?

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have a phone number for Rhode Island Case Company? I can't locate them via Google, or the yellow pages. I found Pyramid though.

I agree with you 100%!
A few years ago, I drove out there just to pick up 25 cases. Can't think of a better way to write off a trip to LasVegas!
