HI! I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to go about becoming a self defense instructor? I am an optician but a self defense teacher wannabe at heart :shiner:. I have found a couple sites on the internet where you can become certified from the comfort of your own home. Do these sites really provide me with a certification that I can use to get hired?!The place I live offers no classes or any info on becoming a self defense intructor. I could really use some help. Thanks.

maybe ask the local police force? Martial Arts instructors?

Learn to load revolvers and automatics, learn how the safety works. That's really all the self defence one needs.
