Now that HIPPA has been put into place, and we spent so much time wringing our hands over the new regulations....

How has HIPPA, if any, affected the way you do business?

I know with us, except for the sign-off sheet, and maybe a little more awareness of talking in front of patients, we haven't changed a thing.

HIPPA hasn't affected us. Neither has HIPAA.

Hipaa, Hippa Hooray.....my ****.

We installed the "Bank Teller" glass enclosure for the front office staff. We have *sleeves* for all charts. They are always covered. I rarely talk to patients about other family members, friends, kids, inlaws, live-in-lovers, etc. I just smile and play really thick(not too hard)!

I com across as totally rude on the phone:

Me: Is Mrs. Fezz there please
Voice#1: "Who is this"
Me: "None of your business, now please get Mrs. Fezz".
Voice#1: " You can go fly a kite, loud and proud Mister!".

And on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and, on............
