As most of you know, I recently finished a major cross-country road trip with my wife. We hit 13 national parks and monuments on our way to and from visiting her dad in Durango CO.

Anyway, I wanted to share some of our pics (we got some great ones). So far I only have our first three days of the trip up, but there are some really great ones in here.

The two black birds in the one shot are California Condors. There are only about 280 left in the world and we saw about 6 of them while at the Grand Canyon. They mate for life and live to about 70 years old.

Thanks G. Looks like you rode the Durango-Silverton.

My wife and I use to backpack thru the San Juans. Can't count how many times we slept in a tent at close to 10,000 feet. I love that area. But we went so often that my wife finally said it was time to move on. Now we seem to favor Glacier and Yellowstone (just not the part of Yellowstone where the tourists are).

Hope you enjoyed the trip.

That's actually the entry lobby for the new cirque du soleil show in Vegas, Love....it's the Beatles show. If you look closely you can see the silhouettes of the Beatles in the "Help!" jump with me posing in as a 5th beatle ;)

I love Napa. My uncle is married into the family who owns Korbel. We used to go to Sonoma every couple of months when I was a kid.

If you ever get the chance, do the Wine Train in Napa. It's amazing.
