I have a love hate relationship with Mr. Moore. I loved his show TV NATION but have not been a real big fan of his recent work. I read in the Chicago Tribune and article in which Moore spoke with a representative from another country saying that "all health care was free of charge". As a result the waiting time for even routine health care was weeks if not months. In fact I've known of a few Canadians who have come down here for health care because they could be seen faster. I would like to see this movie because there is a real issue with MD's leaving Illinois due to excessive costs from pseudo-malpractice lawsuits. Would be nice to find a way to get low cost healthcare and at the same time provide it quickly.

get rid of all private insurance for all but catastrophic care and doctors will have less expenses (no insurance billers, no waiting to be paid) and will compete for your business. Instead of billing $150 to draw blood and recieving $15 from the insurance company (actual numbers from an EOB december 2006) they could charge $30 to $50 make a resonable return at an affordable rate.
if the government needs to get involved have mandatory HSA paid by your tax dollars going into your acount.
