To our new shiny Wii!!!
Wii play it all the time, it is so much fun!
Wii love Super Paper Mario and Wii also enjoy playing bowling, tennis, and golf in our living room!
DH and I are totally addicted to the Wii!!
Any of you who are cool:cool: enough to have a wii, what do you love about it?:p
It is too much fun, I've had mine since November and it was fantastic for winter night. I haven't pick it up much lately, busy, nice weather, holidays. But it great if I want to play for ten minutes then put it back down. Though I am addicted to Everyone votes.

creating our video likeness..that was a great idea by the designers.
On the first night...
I knocked out my son cold in boxing (3rd round) after he had knocked me down once a round (he is 30 now, so its ok!) ...what a workout. I was ahead on punches landed the whole time....but I need to train harder for the rematch..Rocky style!
and I hit a walkoff home run in baseball... I love this game.
In bowling, I found myself moving over a board to pick up a spare.

We have only owned Wii for a few weeks but it is awesome.. I was never a fan of video games but after visiting with my sister and bowling.. i was addicted. We stood in line for Wii 3 weeks ago... I believe my billards game to be improving.... although i can't fish worth a damn! Dh is becoming a MAdden pro... I want to try the Mama's Cooking game (something like that...) anyone have it???? what's it like??
In bowling, I found myself moving over a board to pick up a spare. In golf, I found myself sitting on the sofa swatting at the ball with a flick of my wrist. So much for exercise!

I will chime in with praises for the Wii. It';s the best game console I've ever used and the responsiveness of the wireless controller is amazing.
I've had everyone from age 17 through 82 play it at our house and it's unanimously praised.

I recommend you rent it... my friend rented it for the weekend and was bored in a couple hours. Reviews said same. However, I'm sure some folks like it plenty. $50 seems like a lot for a game about chores...what's next, virtual scrub the floor? ;-) Seriously, though, it appears to be highly repetative.
I HIGHLY recommend Super Paper Mario. It was a must for us b/c the Wii was our one year anneversary gift to ourselves, and the traditional gift is paper, LOL we're such geeks!:nerd: But it is SO much fun! Almost a cross btw Zelda and classic mario board formats.

I think we will take your advice and try renting the mama's cooking game first.. I love to cook but maybe when I don't have the final product to eat... it won't be as fun... We recently joined blockbuster online not only to be able to rent movies but to be able to rent new games as they come out to try them out...
Wii is fabulous though!!

Wii stood in line to surprise my son on Xmas - worth it! Not a gamer in the least I can say that bowling was super fun and creating my own character was a blast as well.
