Does anyone out there in Optiboard-land know if any standard bar code reader or 10-key keypad with a 9-pin cable works with their edgers, or does it have to be some specific Santinelli thing?

Thanks!

My guess would be that santinelli would use a standard reader, especially since the pin configuration you are talking about sounds like a standard 9 pin din connector.

I like Santinelli.... but you don't need to call them. Call the guys at Optivision and see if they can help you. They make what you want for a LOT less than what Santinelli supplies. (Hundreds less, not just a few bucks)

No, I don't work for them. I just like supporting good folks.

I guess I should have first said that a standard setup will not work. Santinelli supplies a scanner, but it is expensive. Now you can re-read my previous post...:D
