I'm so sick of being subjected to the latest exploits of Spears, Lohan, Hilton, and the rest of the "Brat Pack." Nice to see at least one of them will be staying out of trouble for awhile.
Now if the judge could just put a gag order on everyone involved so we all get a break for a few weeks!

Now if the judge could just put a gag order on everyone involved so we all get a break for a few weeks!
Now this is the only part I don't agree with, it's about time that one of these brats did get what they deserved. I would like to see it all over the news so maybe in the future these idiots can realize that their celebrity status has nothing to do with justice in our legal system.
You think these brats are bad, pppppffft.
There nothing compared to the exploits of the schmucks over at the Association of Technical Opticians. ;)
The media should be honing in on those cats!
(all of them except me, and maybe Harry since he is a new Dad)

Immigration, the Group of Eight summit (http://jewishworldreview.com/0607/page061107.php3), global warming, "the missile shield," the Pentagon's shake-up, the runaway tuberculosis guy and the congressman caught with $90,000 stuffed in his freezer can hardly compete for public attention with the many ironies of the hotel heiress.
How to properly punish Paris? New Yorkers have the right idea. Supermodel Naomi Campbell, found guilty of assaulting her maid, and rock star Boy George, busted after cocaine was found in his apartment, were sentenced last year to do community service. In other words, they were sentenced to do real work. Imagine photographers catching Paris cleaning up streets and roadsides in an orange jumpsuit and no makeup. Ah, sweet justice.
But this is not to be…..
Paris Hilton (http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0607/hamilton061107.php3) was freed from Los Angeles County jail Thursday pending a hearing Friday. What an eerie week. With Paris Hilton in jail, Rosie O'Donnell off The View and President Bush in Europe, three out of four Americans suspected they had gone deaf.
She was ordered back into jail by a Los Angeles judge to complete her forty-five day sentence on Friday. The county supervisors were flooded with phone calls from people complaining about the sentence. By a five-to-one margin, they favored execution.
Paris Hilton was driven back to jail Friday with news helicopters overhead. It was celebrity justice long overdue. Everybody always hoped that someone would go to jail for killing Nicole Brown Simpson, but nobody thought it would be Paris Hilton.
Al Sharpton flew to Los Angeles Friday to complain about Paris Hilton's special treatment. He said it shows there's racism in Los Angeles. A race riot was narrowly avoided when Al Sharpton neglected to provide a Spanish translation for his comments.
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa ordered all residents Thursday to reduce their water use by ten percent due to drought. Tempers are flaring. There's even a citywide fight over whether Paris Hilton should be forced to take community showers.
You may recall that last year Paris Hilton flunked a roadside sobriety test in West Hollywood even though witnesses said she had just one martini. It's a lesson for every starlet in town. They will test drunk just by walking through the bar if they don't start eating.

Well this beats all... after a few more days in jail, Ms. Hilton now reports she has "found God" and He has released her. My personal faith tells me God can change anyone- my skeptical side wonders if we'll see any difference in her actions once this "ordeal" is over.
Perhaps instead of filming another year of "Simple Life," Paris will volunteer to star on a new version of "Touched by an Angel!"
PS- My Hilton updates come via the local SPORTS radio station- which seems rather enamored with the ongoing saga...

Reminds me of OJ Simpson 12 years ago.
Take away the press give her a few magazines and let her do her time. I dont think too many inmates on Rikers Island can go home for a couple of days because they are clostrophobic.
Cant the media find anything better.
I dont think a spoiled brat crying because she missed an appointment at her favorite salon is newsworthy.

Looking at this AMs story, I am trying to figure out what is bothering me most. I believed that if it were you or I in this situation we would not be serving time in jail. Next time you talk to a state policeman, ask them if you don't believe me. (Should we of her for that matter? Yes indeed).
I think the judge and prosecutors took offense that this "pretty" , rich girl thinks she can do this in my jurisdiction. (They should feel this way about all DUIs).
It bothers that there is so many people saying,"ha ha "pretty" rich snobby girl going to jail."
It also bothers me very much that now people are making fun of her because she says she has been freed by God. If she has really or not, I'd strongly advise against that attitude.

May 17, 2007: Hilton drops an appeal of her jail sentence.

June 4, 2007: Hilton's attorney says his client is doing well under the circumstances.
June 7, 2007: Hilton is released from jail because of an undisclosed medical problem and is ordered serve the rest of her sentence in home confinement. Judge Sauer later orders Hilton to appear in his courtroom to determine whether she should return to jail.
June 8, 2007: Hilton appears in Los Angeles County Superior Court. An outraged Judge Sauer orders her back behind bars to serve out her 45-day sentence. This time, the heiress is in the medical ward of the Twin Towers facility in downtown Los Angeles.

Paris should have hired the Florida school teacher's attorney that used the "to pretty for prison defense". (Debra LaFave case)
If it worked in Florida, it would be a slam dunk in SoCal!

My daughter sent me a clip of Paris's first of a kind optical frame. Sorry I wasn't smart enough to place the picutre on optiboard.
It's a large oval with Versace type temples with Paris Hilton dngraved on the temple. The frames have bars over the oculars to make her feel at home.
